Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo
A quick and creamy shrimp fettuccine Alfredo made in one pan in just 30 minutes, perfect for busy weeknights. This dish features tender shrimp cooked with garlic and shallots, combined with fettuccine pasta and a rich sauce made from butter, chicken broth, milk, cream, and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
What you need

shallot

tbsp butter

tbsp parsley

cup heavy cream

tsp pepper

pinch nutmeg

cup parmesan cheese

cup chicken broth
lime
Instructions
1: In a deep pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Once melted, add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and set aside. 2: Add 2 tablespoons of butter and melt. Add minced garlic and shallots and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute. 3: Add chicken broth, whole milk, and fettuccine pasta. Stir to separate fettuccine. Once boiling, cover and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook until al dente, about 1 minute less than package instructions, stirring halfway through. 4: Once fettuccine is cooked al dente, add heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Stir until cheese melts. Add pepper, nutmeg, and parsley. 5: Bring shrimp back to the pan and combine. Remove from heat to allow sauce to thicken for 5-20 minutes. 6: Top with parmesan cheese, parsley, and a squeeze of lime.
