What you need

tsp baking soda

cup cake flour

cup powdered sugar

tbsp unsalted butter

cup granulated sugar

tsp vanilla extract

pinch salt

Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin tin with parchment paper cupcake liners and spray with Pam baking spray. 2: In a bowl, beat cream cheese and butter together with an electric mixer until softened, about 4-5 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, then add food coloring, cocoa powder, and vanilla. 3: Stir salt into buttermilk and add to the batter in three parts, alternating with cake flour, starting and ending with flour. Lastly, add vinegar and baking soda to the batter and mix. 4: Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full and bake for 17-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 5: Let cool completely, then pipe cream cheese frosting on top. 6: Enjoy & buon appetito!View original recipe
