Instructions
1: Boil salted water for pasta and chop onion. 2: In a pan on medium heat, brown onion for 2-3 minutes. Add the peas and cook them for 2-3 minutes. Add a bit of salt and pepper and stir. 3: Remove peas and onions from pan. Set a few spoons of peas aside for topping at the end. 4: Add peas, onions, almonds, parmigiano cheese, basil, and olive oil to a blender and blend until smooth. 5: Return to pan. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Stir to combine, adding a little pasta cooking water to make it creamier. 6: Top with peas you set aside and more freshly grated parmigiano cheese.View original recipe
