Instructions
1: Make syrup by combining water and brown sugar in a pot and bringing to a boil on high heat. 2: Allow it to boil for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and whisk in cream and cinnamon. Set aside. 3: Make custard by whisking together eggs, cream, milk, and sugar. 4: Cut the top of Panettone off and then cut it into thirds (or halves). Cut each half into 4 pieces. 5: Heat butter on a griddle or pan. 6: Dip each piece front and back in custard, allowing it to absorb. 7: Fry each side for about 4 minutes or until golden brown. 8: Repeat until all pieces are cooked. 9: Serve with the homemade syrup, berries, and powdered sugar.View original recipe
