
Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies
Celebrate national chocolate chip cookie day with these perfect soft yet crunchy Oreo chocolate chip cookies. The dough combines all-purpose flour, cornstarch, cream cheese, butter, sugars, an egg, vanilla extract, chocolate chips, and roughly chopped Oreos for a delightful treat.
What you need

cup butter
tsp cornstarch

cup all purpose flour

cup granulated sugar
egg

tsp vanilla extract

cup chocolate chips

oz cream cheese
Instructions
1: Whisk the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl. Set aside. 2: With a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the cream cheese on medium until smooth and creamy. 3: Add butter and beat until combined. 4: Add both sugars and beat until smooth and creamy (2 minutes). 5: Add egg and vanilla and beat on high until combined. 6: Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix on low until combined. 7: Fold in chocolate chips and Oreos with a spatula. 8: Cover and chill dough for 2 hours minimum. 9: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 10: Scoop dough onto the baking sheet (1.5 tablespoons of dough per cookie). 11: Bake for 12-13 minutes or until lightly browned on the side. 12: Remove from oven and let cool on baking dish for 5 minutes before moving to a cooling rack to cool completely.View original recipe
