What you need

shallot

tbsp butter

lemon

tsp pepper

cup parmesan cheese
cup chicken broth

slice bacon

tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1: In a deep pan, add oil and bacon over high heat until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside. 2: Add shallot and garlic in the same pan with salt and pepper and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook for about 3-4 minutes on medium heat until softened. 3: Add uncooked pasta, stir, then add chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release any stuck pieces. Bring to a simmer on medium-low and cook uncovered for 10-13 minutes, or until pasta is cooked al dente. 4: Once pasta is cooked al dente, add peas, cheese, butter and lemon juice and zest, along with crispy bacon chopped up. Heat through for 2-3 minutes. 5: Serve with more cheese and enjoy!View original recipe
