Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2: Take cream cheese out so it's room temperature. If needed, microwave for 15-20 seconds to soften. 3: Wash and cut jalapeños in half, keeping the stems if possible. De-seed them. 4: Mix cream cheese, pepper jack, and salt until well combined. Set aside. 5: Open the crescent rolls and press together the creases to form squares. 6: Cut 10 long strips from each square. 7: Spoon the cheese mixture into the jalapeños. 8: Wrap the jalapeños with crescent dough strips, leaving a gap for the candy eyes. 9: Whisk the egg and baste the wrapped jalapeños with it. 10: Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
