
Italian Sausage Soup
A comforting Italian sausage soup perfect for any season, loaded with vegetables, beans, and pasta for a hearty meal. This dish combines the rich flavors of ground Italian sausage with a variety of veggies and seasoning, simmered in a flavorful broth, and finished with a touch of cream for added richness.
What you need
cup kale

cup heavy whipping cream

bay leaves

tbsp oregano

white onion

tbsp olive oil

can red kidney beans
Instructions
1: In a dutch oven/stock pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. 2: Add sausage and cook until no longer brown (about 3-5 minutes). 3: Add diced onions, carrots, celery and garlic and cook until they soften (about 5 minutes). 4: Add canned tomatoes, broth, and all seasonings. Bring to a boil and then drop the heat to low and cook for 15 minutes. 5: Add kale and simmer for another 10 minutes. 6: Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes or until it is done. 7: Pour heavy cream in and mix. 8: Serve with grated parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (for spice).View original recipe
