
French Onion Chicken

An easy, one-pan skillet dinner featuring boneless, skinless chicken breasts seasoned and cooked with onions and French onion soup, topped with melted mozzarella cheese. Ready in about 30 minutes!

What you need

tsp garlic powder

yellow onion

tsp kosher salt
chicken breast

tsp paprika
Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 350°F. 2: Season chicken breast with Kosher salt, paprika, and garlic powder, and set aside. 3: In a cast iron skillet, add butter and melt on medium heat. 4: Add sliced onions and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. 5: Remove the onions from the skillet. 6: Put heat on medium-high and add seasoned chicken breast, browning both sides for 5 minutes each. 7: Once browned, add onions back into the skillet with the can of French onion soup. 8: Cook for 5 minutes until the soup thickens a bit. 9: Add cheese on top of each chicken breast and place in the oven. 10: Bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.View original recipe
