This copycat recipe of the famous Levain Bakery chocolate chip walnut cookie results in gooey and soft cookies inside while being perfectly crunchy on the outside. Perfect for the holiday season to leave out for Santa!

What you need

cup cake flour

cup sugar
tsp cornstarch

cup all purpose flour

tsp baking soda

cup brown sugar
Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 410 degrees. 2: In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together cold cubed butter, brown sugar, and sugar for 4-5 minutes or until creamy. 3: Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well after each egg. 4: Stir in both flours, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined - avoid overmixing. 5: Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts. 6: Separate dough into large balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. You can only fit 4 cookies on one large cookie sheet. 7: Bake for 9-12 minutes or until golden brown on the top. Let them rest for at least 10 minutes to set, then move to a cookie sheet to finish cooling. 8: Serve & enjoy!View original recipe
