Baked Ziti with Italian Sausage is an easy, hearty meal perfect for family weeknights, ready in just about 30 minutes. This dish combines ziti pasta, Italian sausage, and a blend of tomato and cream sauces topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

What you need

tbsp butter
oz mozzarella

tbsp parmesan cheese

cup dry white wine

tbsp olive oil
oz marinara sauce
Instructions
1: Bring a pot of salted pasta water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente (about 1-2 minutes less than what the package directions). 2: In a deep pan over medium heat, heat olive oil. Cook Italian sausage until no longer pink (about 5-6 minutes). 3: Add garlic and cook for another minute. 4: Add white wine and bring to a simmer, reducing wine until it’s almost completely evaporated. 5: Add diced tomatoes, marinara sauce, butter and chopped basil. 6: Remove from heat and add cooked pasta and half of mozzarella, mixing it to blend. 7: Place in an oven-safe baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese. 8: Place underneath broiler for 3-5 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.View original recipe
