
Baked Rigatoni

Baked Rigatoni with Italian Sausage is an extremely easy, hearty, and yummy family weeknight meal that comes together in just about 30 minutes. Loaded with rigatoni pasta, ground Italian sausage, garlic, and melted cheese, this dish is perfect for a quick dinner.

What you need

tbsp butter
cup mozzarella

tbsp parmesan cheese

tbsp olive oil
oz marinara sauce
Instructions
1: Bring a pot of salted pasta water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente (about 1-2 minutes less than what the package directions). 2: In a deep pan over medium heat, heat olive oil. Cook Italian sausage until no longer pink (about 5-6 minutes). 3: Add garlic and cook for another minute. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer, reducing until it’s almost completely evaporated (2-3 minutes). 4: Add diced/crushed tomatoes, marinara sauce, butter, and chopped basil. Cook until butter is melted (1-2 minutes). 5: Remove from heat and add cooked pasta and half of mozzarella, mixing it to blend. Transfer to an oven-safe baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese. 6: Place underneath broiler for 3-5 minutes (watch it closely), or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.View original recipe
