These salted caramel cookies are the perfect fall treat, combining soft, buttery dough with rich caramel flavor, and topped with a drizzle of homemade caramel and flaky salt.

Set aside. 2: In an electric mixer or with a handheld mixer, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and caramel sugar for 3-4 minutes. 3: Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and mix for 1 minute. Stir in caramel. 4: Fold in baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour until just mixed. Chill dough for 30 minutes. 5: Once dough is chilled, scoop cookies into balls and bake for 10-11 minutes.
