Delicious and easy mashed potatoes made with Yukon gold potatoes, sour cream, salted butter, and heavy cream. Perfect for Thanksgiving dinner or any meal.

1: Peel and dice potatoes. Keep them in a bowl of cold water while you do this. 2: In a large pot, add water, 1-2 tablespoons kosher salt, and potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are fork tender (about 30 minutes). 3: Drain potatoes from water and bring back to pot (heat off). Mash using a potato masher or fork. 4: Add sour cream, melted butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper and fold in until combined. Mash again until desired consistency is reached. 5: Taste for salt, add more if needed. Top as desired and enjoy!
