Simmer on low for about 8 minutes. 4: Add hot chicken broth and pastina and cook until pasta is tender (~7-10 minutes depending on pastina size). 5: Turn off the heat and stir in cheese and butter until melted. 6: Add basil leaves and stir. 7: Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and more cheese.
