1: Pound out chicken to about 1/2 inch thick and cut in half horizontally. 2: Place chicken in a gallon ziplock bag. 3: Add buttermilk and all marinade seasonings into ziplock bag. 4: Massage and let marinate for at least 30 minutes, but no more than 24 hours. 5: Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium-high (between 300-350 degrees). 6: In a bowl, whisk together all breading ingredients. 7: Drizzle a few spoonfuls of marinade buttermilk mixture into flour mixture and mix with a fork. 8: One piece at a time, submerge chicken in flour mixture and press to form a thick crust. 9: Put chicken in hot oil and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden. 10: Place chicken on a cooling rack to release excess oil. 11: Toast brioche buns in butter, layer with sauce and pickles, and enjoy!
